Departures for the Dusky Track are on demand
with a minimum of three and maximum of six
people.
Day 1 should
be either a Sunday or a Wednesday. It is
wise to have a spare day (or 2) in case
of inclement weather.
Your Guided Walk package includes 1 nights
accommodation at the Waiau Hotel in Tuatapere
then, 5 nights accommodation on the trail
in public DoC huts, all meals, transport
ex Invercargill, Queenstown or Te Anau,
boat trip across Lake Hauroko to the start
of the track, helicopter ride from Supper
Cove across the Southern Alps returning
to Tuatapere, concession and guiding
fees, all equipment and maps.
The price per person is NZ$ 1 895 including
GST. We do not recommend the track for children
under 15. Prices are valid to 1 November
2007.
